Getting Around
Walking
Bergen center is compact and walkable. Most attractions within 15 minutes on foot.

Single line from airport to city center. Main transit connection.
Fløibanen
Funicular to Mt. Fløyen. Runs year-round, ~8 min each way.
Ferries
Norled ferries to islands and fjord communities. Express boat to Flåm/Sognefjorden.
Transit Tip
Bergen's center is small enough to walk everywhere. Save the Bybanen for the airport transfer and the Fløibanen for the views.

Travel Tips
Download the Skyss app for Bergen public transport
Buy Fløibanen tickets online — the queue at the base station can be very long in summer
The fish market is best in the morning when boats arrive with fresh catch
Bergen Card offers free/discounted museums and some transport — worth it for 2+ days
What I'd Do Differently
I'd spend an extra day for a fjord cruise to Flåm — the Norway in a Nutshell route from Bergen is spectacular and worth the full day.
